Retired Major General discipled by Navigator Lee Gilbert from 1970 until 1974. I am a kid from Montana who loved to fly fast airplanes and try to live God’s Word. The last 20 years I have worked with ROTC cadets and served under the encouraging hand of Roy Garren. For over 15 years I led a Nav Bible study for ROTC cadets at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL. I now mentor only one cadet there and help Roy when he requests. My primary focus these days is ministering to foster children. I serve as the CEO of Covenant Children’s Home in Dunnellon, FL. This is a rewarding ministry as few of the children who come to us have ever heard of Jesus Christ or experienced what it is like to live in a loving Christian home. We have full time Christian house parents and no more than six children in each home. I love this ministry. It is a wonderful way for a man over 80 to gracefully fade away while helping others. I am forever thankful to the Navigators and seldom turn down a request to help in what ever way I am able.
